Fun little hike. Easy and great for all ages. There is a small adobe house that was built in the late 1800's, looks like a house though so don't expect a little mud hut lol. The forested area is really cool at late afternoon when the sun comes through the trees, you can see it in some of my pictures. We went in late May, but the rangers said the fields are really pretty green earlier in the year when spring is just starting. I would do it again.
