Not recommended unless you're going for a quick bike ride. There are two paths here: one that runs along the lake and one that runs along Highway 35. The path along the lake is closed, which means you have to resort to the other path. Since that path runs along the highway, you get to enjoy the pleasant noise of car whizzing by while on your hike. If you must be on this trail, bring lots of friends or generous headphones.

I only go here for an exercise ride since I live just down the street. Nice place for joggers and roadies. Pretty much all paved trail. Don't expect any mountain biking fun.

Walked on the paved trail for about 2miles out&back. It had a nice view and weather, but it was too close to the freeway for my liking. Kind of noisy, but I tuned it out after awhile. Walked up the other side of larkspur exit(south of it) on the way back for a little and enjoyed it. Nice dirt path & more secluded. Going to give that side a try next time. Watch out for the poison ivy!

Paved trail probably good for a quick bike ride. No access to the reservoir & sticks way too close to the 35 for casual hiking. Exposed most of the way down.
