Runyon Canyon Trail is a 2.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Los Angeles, California that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This is one of the most popular hiking spots in LA. It was temporarily closed from 4/1/16 - 7/31/16 for pipe repair work, but reopened as of Tuesday, August 2nd. Because the park was closed for a while, rattlesnakes and coyotes have come back into the park. If you have a small or medium sized dog, please consider putting them on a leash in Runyon.
i pretty much do this hike once a season just for kicks! great accessible hike with awesome views. wide paths at points make it bearable since its busy all the time. funny hollywood people do this hike, but the dog watching is the best!
Beautiful views but parking hard to find.
Pretty crowded but nice views for right in LA.
Overly busy. If you don't mind crowds and it's a clear day there are nice views, but there are quieter trails with just as nice of views
Beautiful view but it's always busy and parking is crazy!
Great views of Hollywood, it would be better if they had maybe some stand selling water or some liquids halfway through (like they do at the entrance/exit). Great trail for dogs!
