Hike to Prospect Tunnel, a 400-ft tunnel driven in the 1860s by coal miners. Bring a flashlight to explore! Connect the Stewartville Trail to the Ridge Trail. Follow the Corcoran Mine trail to the prospect mine
I give this trail 5 stars. It's amazing and you can add some difficulty to it by taking the Old Miners Trail on the way back. I had a blast. I wrote a blog post about it. Check it out at http://www.andrewpiegnet.com for my whole route!
Our kids & pup love this trail.... Although we haven't "completed" the full loop with our littles we have made it out to prospect mine & back. The kids love it!!! Be sure to bring a flashlight to peek inside.
