A loop that offers beautiful ocean vistas, meadows and forests.
I've hiked this trail twice now and love it. The wildflowers have been amazing this spring and they are abundant on this trail. There is plenty of poison oak and lots of wind. the views are breathtaking. This is a moderately difficult hike, my 66 year old mom did it fine, but she's tough.
This loop trail is amazing. There are breathtaking ocean vistas almost the whole time. I did the Ridge Trail first, then came down the Panorama Trail and connected it to the Bluffs Trail. There is a bench atop the highest peak, but the better lunch spot lies on the Panorama Trail just below the peak as the views at this place are 360 degrees. The climb is about 1100' over a couple miles so it's not too tough. Going counter clockwise the climb is spaced out over a half mile or so and is much steeper. Nice little beach at the Bluffs Trail/Panorama Trail Junction. Panorama trail can also be dense with overgrowth sometimes, but in November 2013 is was very clear.
