Directions from California State Route 88: Take the Blue Lakes Road south. This paved road becomes a well maintained dirt road after 7 miles. After 4 miles on dirt you will reach a signed junction. The road to the right goes to Blue Lakes, while the left road lead to Tamarack Lake. Take the left turn and follow it past Tamarack Lake. In approximately 2.5 miles you will reach another prominent junction. Take the road to the right, leading toward Indian Valley. Arriving quickly at Indian Valley, take the left (east) road. In another 1.5 miles you will arrive at the Wet Meadows Trailhead.Driving time from Carson City, around 11/2 hours.
