Ragged Peak is a 11 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Groveland, CA that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from June until October.
Ragged Peak lies about four miles north of Tioga road in Yosemite. The summit provides an excellent view of the Tuolumne Meadows and northeastern Yosemite backcountry, with probably the best view of Mt. Conness. The trail is sandy and made up of talus closer to the peak. There are a few creek crossings on the way to the peak.
