Decent uphill climb to the top but way too many people for my tastes. Young women talking on cell phones, young men playing music while walking. Did see a couple of deer near the entrance. That was the highlight. Will not walk this trail again.
great. I've gone two days in a row and the hike up of 2.5 miles on one side is hard but doable. the other 2.5 miles are mostly downhill.
nice, relatively flat and easy trail, not a whole lot of shade. Two parking lots, one at the trail head, and an overflow like a block away. 3 bucks to park for 4 hours (took me 2 hours to complete trail with a couple short stops)
nice recreational hiking. quite a few different trails you can take, the basic loop isn't difficult at all, very highly trafficked so you don't feel quite as "in nature" . pretty nice views, I'd say it's a great beginner and recreational hike. nice trail for jogging if u wanna practice hills. I'd say it's more of a scenic walk than a hike
Easy walking , running. Not difficult at all
Great views, some shade, excellent workout. Better than chino hills state park trails for hiking.
Great for trail running when short on time
It can get really hot for dog paws but use paw wax and snake vaccine for your pets and it's a great experience!
Hikers our number bikers, not cool!
Descent hike if you are looking to get a quick workout around the loop. Not too much to see, aside from your occasional dry brush. Safe trail if you don't mind hiking with a crowd.
I've hiked this loop plenty of times and I'll say there's always something new whether it be deer, tarantulas or snakes. This is a great trail to prepare for those more daunting backpacking trips.
Parking is terrible .some weekends I have seen arguing over parking spots . Other than that it's a good workout and is not a real hard trail.
Parking here is rough! Come right at opening (usually 6:30am), or expect to walk a ways (Closest I could find was the neighborhood off Padova
One of my all time favs
