Poison Canyon is a 10.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Trinity Center, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, camping, and backpacking and is best used from June until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This is a great day-hike. There are good views of Ycatapom Peak, & Lilypad Lake is pretty cool, but the lush ponds & views above are even better. There's another pond off-trail hidden under some cliffs worth exploring. Did I mention the meadows are incredible,too?
