Oh boy, great butt kicker hills on the ridge trail will get you in shape. Flatter trails along the dry lakebed trail. Lots and lots of people on the weekend. But a good workout for sure!
Easy, fun trail with some serious hill options. Mostly wide berth, though on the Lake View downside mountain bikers can be a bit uncool, so be safe and aware. A couple of coyotes on the backside occasionally check you out. The big one I named Wiley. Nice people and flat and wide enough for all ages. But bring water in case you do the entire 6-miles. No drinkable water on the trail stops.
Easier then expected
love this trail
Nice bit of nature. Good for training with the hills (Big Red).
Great views from the heights. Teeming with wildlife.
good workout trail
Tends to be crowded even during the week. Mild up & down trail especially the east ridge view portion which can be challenging to some. The lower portion(peters cyn trail) is relatively flat offering little challenge but has a decent portion of it canopied. The big hill which some locals call the MF'ing hill is a great challenge. I hit it twice for an added workout.
Has some challenging parts; good for exercising. It can get crowded at times
