Patrick's Point Trail is a 0.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Trinidad, CA that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from April until October.

Short easy trail to viewpoint with great views of the sunset.
I used to come here almost everyday and watch the sunset. A great place to hike, camp, picnic, sightsee, etc. If you don't mind the extra 0.3 mile walk, you can drive past the entrance and find free parking.
short walk to a viewpoint
Camp twice at the park. One of my favorite placed to camp on the coast.
Enjoyed the view very much (and all the other views down the coast).
The beautiful thing about Patrick's Point is that for one 'day-use' fee ($8.00) you can have an entire day of exploring new things! There are several beach accesses, trails, big rocks to climb, and dense forest to comb. Dogs are not allowed, so if you are looking for a 'dog' friendly place, look elsewhere. Note, to avoid the day-use fee, simply park on Patrick's Point Drive, before the entrance, and there is a short hike through the forest to all of the trail-heads.
Nice easy hike with good viewing
Very Beautiful walk.
Dogs are only allowed on paved trails in the State Park. This trail is not paved and therefore dogs are not allowed, leashed or not (just as the first picture shows).
I love Patrick's Point. Beautiful area
It is great to bike around the park and then bike up and down to the beach, or just explore.
