Parkfield Grade Trail is a 18.5 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Coalinga, California that offers scenic views and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for off road driving and is accessible year-round.

The Parkfield Grade is simply a paved windy road one way up and a dirt road down. Great views of the San Joaquin valley on a clear day and highlight is the San Andreas fault line. Completion of "trail" ends up on highway 46 just before the James Dean memorial park
