Can't really say much, the trail was closed.
I would definitely rate this trail as moderate but not easy. If you are t sure where the cave is, it will be hard to spot but there was some rocks on the ground trying to point is in the right direction. Overall a very good hike and I would do it again but go when it's cooler.
Good day trip, we did it in 3 hours in the morning then went rafting in the afternoon. Ran into a rattlesnake at a creek crossing, be warned they're there!
This trail was very nice, almost well maintained. Most of the signs leading up to the cave were knocked over or missing. So my group was a bit lost. The cave is located about half way up the mountain. I expected it down by the creek. Either way nice hike and views. Caution we saw a rattle snake in the brush down by the creek.
Wow...what an uphill experience. This hike is rated moderate but the elevation gain kicked our butts. once you get to the cave its really cool inside. unfortunately people that aren't respectful of nature have broken the stalagtites. pack a lunch and enjoy exploring the cave. dont forget a flashlight. be sure and snap photos along the way the views are nice.
