Beautiful section of the PCT between Lost Valley Road and the Combs Peak section of the PCT. See the description in Afoot and Afield San Diego on page 195. There are several spots to camp along the trail and some water sources at the north end.

Great hike. Moderate in difficulty, but this hike is long if you go road to road and back. Great views and almost no one around unless it is thru hiking season. Can be done as a backpacking trip too as there are several camping spots. Enjoy.
