North Lake Tahoe Regional Park Trail is an out and back trail located near Tahoe Vista, CA and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
There was a fee for parking so we didn't do this hike. Back toward the lake, on National, there was another trail the Tall Trees loop, which we explored instead. Easy to find, looks like hikers and mountain bikers use it. Through (wait for it) tall trees. There were lots of side trails though, so not sure we did the whole thing. My rating is for this trail.
