dogs on leash
good for a quick hike
no waterfall today 5/3/16
My wife and I decided to stop here and go see the water fall. I have gone for years and never seen water. This year was different. I really enjoyed it. This hike is great for kids! A very easy and small hike. Only a 10 min walk from parking lot.
Took a dog; good ten-fifteen minute walk. As of March 2016 the trail is back open; though to get to the falls you have to walk around a short fence and make your way through a bit of debris. Not a problem though, good trail for anyone and all ages.
The trails are still closed due to the mudslide.
It's a fun and easy walk to the falls, which are very seasonal. It's pretty popular on weekends and lots of families are walking with their kids and dogs. Please note that it is temporarily closed as of Dec 3 2014 due to a small landslide after a recent rain. So, check before you go out there to see if it's been reopened.
I stop here every time I drive by the area. Very short but worth it. Green and covered. The waterfall hardly ever has enough water to be more than a trickle, but the area is a great place for a picnic or a break.
nicely shaded want to come back when there is more than a trickle of water.
nice easy hike but best to go after rain
Hardly a hike, more of a short tourist walk out to one of the few waterfalls in the area, Nojoqui Falls. Most of the time the falls is little more than a trickle down a rock wall, but after heavy rain it becomes a little more impressive. With the park at the front of the hike, it's a great place to have a family outing/picnic.
It's a easy 10 to 15 min walk with a incline. 5 minutes drive to solvang, ca. Try it.
Nice short hike I did a couple of time when was little, goes to a waterfall at the end and if its been a little rainy if flows pretty nice
18 May 2013 there were only a few drops of water coming down at a time. It was still beautiful but I hope to catch it sometime with actual falls coming down. Looks like a great place to picnic.
Been here a couple times. It's a very short and easy walk with plenty of shade. There's a nice seating area near the fall. There was some water but not alot. Still great trail too especially passing through the area.
Super easy and perfect for kids too (3-5 years old okay).
We like to stop by whenever we go by and it is light because it is a quick jaunt up to the little waterfall. It is even educational as a sign near it will tell you about the local geology and the growing waterfall. I stopped by a couple days ago and found it flowing in a strong trickle. It seeps in quickly, so the creek by the lot is often dry when the water is still flowing over the falls.
Fun hike to the waterfall! Usually very nice around Easter with lots of water flowing. Also a kid friendly park nearby.
great for picnicing! real easy, and beautiful spot.
