Mount Tamalpais South Side Ramble Trail is a 6.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Mill Valley, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
A pleasant loop that explores trails away from the crowds found at Muir Woods and the summit hikes. This loop offers stunning vistas of the Pacific Ocean. Take the Matt Davis Trial to the Stage Coach Fire Rd. Return via Bootjack and Matt Davis Trail.
January 12. Lots of water falls.
Solid loop trail with phenomenal views
Hot hike, bc the first part doesn't have much cover, dogs are allowed on this hike, and the views are amazing!!
Great but hot lol
Great loop that ends by the beach and by a restaurant with a full bar.
It was hard but great trail.
What a beautiful place to hike. It was supposed to be a 6.6 mile hike, but for us it was closer to 8.5 miles. Hope to do another hike in the near future with so many trails to choose from.
Loved this hike. Lots of stairs on the way down and you will be in for a workout going back up. Very misty in the early morning which was nice. Very lush greens and shade. Wear mosquito repellant!
