Pleasant views, plenty of picture-perfect spots, bicycle friendly! Go about an hour before the sunset, reach the topmost point, sit and watch the sunset!
Nice trail. Super convenient location. Only negative is The trail is not well marked when you hit Johnstone rd which led to some wandering around the ucsf housing and then fighting some tight ungroomed trails until we found our way to the marker. That was the only negative. Otherwise nice hike.
Amazing this forest in the middle of the city. Beautiful and lush and in spots is like a rain forest. Go all the way up to the summit and back. A nice hike and not hard.
For been in the middle of the City not Bad of a trail.
You come to a point where you forget you are in a city.
I was surprised to see a small dense forest in the middle of the city. The trails were short but some parts were steep. I did a small loop for less than an hour. Not much a workout but next time I will try a longer loop.
It's true — one moment you're in the middle of an urban landscape the next within a small but extremely dense park. A great place for solitude from the city or when you don't have time for a full day hike
