Mother Miguel Trail is a 11.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Bonita, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, birding, and horses and is best used from March until October. Horses are also able to use this trail.
Will work out your legs. Beware of rubber legs on the way back.
This trail is actually 7 miles in and out to the flag. If you do all 11 miles you will end up at the beginning of the Rockhouse. There is no shade at all so try not to do it on a hot day. Nice incline for about 1.5 miles. Good work out and a nice view of the city and lake.
Great hike one of my favorite hikes in San Diego. Amazing view at the top. It is a must hike if you have never hiked it before
Stop cutting across the switch backs!!
Easy hike for the entire family, dog and 3 yr old alike.
