Morley Field Trail is a 1.7 mile loop trail located near San Diego, CA. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

These trails are on the east side of the Florida Canyon, and start behind the tennis and baseball courts. Certain parts are wide and flat, and lined with eucalyptus trunks. Other parts are small, sometimes with small offshoot loop trails. If you have time to wander, it's a nice vantage over the canyon and you can see the succulent garden, some buildings in Balboa Park, and the Navy Hospital. From certain points you also get downtown views. And maybe a few brown bunnies, and a snake or two. Pretty mellow, easy trail. Lots of local folks walk through, bikers too.
This so called "trail" is marked poorly if at all, my hike was all guesswork. The directions are horrible, don't believe them! Park at the Morley Field Dog Park and try the Florida Canyon Trail instead.
