Monarch Canyon/Mine Trail is a 1.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Death Valley, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, birding, and off road driving and is best used from October until April. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Easy trail. Some steepness in beginning. 4ft tall foliage blocks trail and is impassable even if you climb over the rocks. Some cool mine ruins. Loved the fact that no one else was on the trail.
