We started at 7:00 am ! first time doing South Fortuna!
I'm glad we find three ladies ; they gave us direction to follow the trais! Thanks to them, we did 5 miles and got to South Fortuna ; came down on Fortuna Saddle Trail & Suycott Wash trail to finish San Diego River Crossing Trail. The most difficult was doing the stairs; to South Fortuna!
lots of bees around this season but very beautiful route. the old mission dam is very rewarding however, beautiful site.
Fun trail. Different trails to take. Nice ride.
Cool to navigate your way around. Rewarding at the peak of North Fortuna. 1 peak down
Not clearly marked as others have said walking over a little creek 5 min into the walk was the highlight.
An easy walk with fun views of the hills and a few interesting rock faces. Can easily be turned into a longer hike of varying difficulty by taking the well marked turns onto other trails.
Visitor Loop is a nice easy hike had fun with the kids and pup.
This is a good hike and I just learned the the park has a 5 peak challenge. for more info go the mission trails link. MTRP.org.
Moderate Hike. Love that there's several trails. Dog friendly.
