One of two places in the East Bay to see rare and endangered pallid manzanita, also called Alameda manzanita. This trail follows the Sobrante Ridge, Manzanita, and Manzanita Loop trails. Great views of Mt. Diablo, Mt. Tamalpais, and San Pablo Ridge. BEST time to hike here is winter, after the first rains, when the manzanitas are in flower.
