Deff going back again ..
A nice, moderate hike through the pines, near Manzanita Creek (which you cross once over a culvert), with a pretty meadow at the end. Great views of Chaos Crags and Loomis Peak
It was beautiful, we only got to Hike manzanita lake. The rest of the park was not open in early May. It was beautiful!!!
Excellent trip! Be sure to check out the Cinder Cone volcano on the other side of the park. Spectacular views and a challenging hike but definitely worth it!
A great park worth visiting if you are in Northern CA!! Crowds are minimal compared to other NP in the state!
Drove thru the park a number of years ago on the way to the Northern California coasts. Just stopped at a few viewpoints and for lunch but would love to return an spend more time.
