Los Angeles Arboretum Trail is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Arcadia, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
If you need a quick escape from the urban jungle of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Arboretum is a good place to go. The moment you cross through the main gate, you leave the angry streets of LA behind, and enter a lush oasis of nature and beauty. The entrance fee is $9:00 for a single adult entrance. One can also purchase an annual family pass for $75. The air is relatively fresh, and the botanical garden is excellent. I wandered much of the afternoon, and logged just over 4 miles on my pedometer.
Relax and convenience!
