Lookout Point Trail is a 2.8 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Groveland, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is best used from April until October.
Hiked in late May and the wildflowers are amazing. Interesting meadow in the saddle. Nice panoramic view at the top, including Hetch Hetchy Lake, O'Shaughnessy Dam, and Wapama Falls.
Relatively easy walk, moderate uphill for the last half.
