great trail, our kids enjoyed short and enjoyable with a beautiful waterfall
so beautiful. can't wait to go again
Beautiful, easy hike with some creek crossing.
Great little trek. Not to much hiking more of a stroll to the limekilns and then climbing around trees to see the falls.
This is an excellent hike for kids. Nice adventure and no too far to hike. There is another trail that's 1 mike up to the vista that overlooks the ocean. It's beautiful up there. I would recommend water shoes for the falls.
Great hike for the family and young kids!
Great and short. May have to climb but will cross streams so might as well get wet. Thn there is a beach.
Really simple hike. A few trees that had fallen were blocking the trail but we're very easy to get around. There are some really awesome places to take waterfall and stream photographs.
The one tiny thing that wasn't good was the parking. There's very limited parking but there are a lot of camping spots if that's what you're going for.
Excellent short and rewarding hike. Beautiful forest and stream atmosphere that leads to a pretty waterfall what else one can ask for. Most recommended for a short trip while traveling on highway 1.
More like a walk than a hike but very pretty! There are 3 short hikes in this area from the start of the trailhead and they are all worth doing for the scenery.
This in and out hike might be small, but what it lacks for in length it makes up for in beauty! Amazing trail!!!
I love this place, it's beautiful. the trail are easy. I would highly recommend this place. I camped at this location for 3 night in April and it was cold at night.
short hike with lots of creek crossing but was fun and can't wait to go back!
Lush, beautiful, well maintained trails. Easy hike, great for families with children.
Camped here with family on the ocean side of the campground. The hike in and out of the redwoods was beautiful and easy, great to do with children. From our campsite we were able to see dolphin and humpback whales.......magical!
Nearly complete is a brand new section of trail at Limekiln! If you take the trail towards the kilns, there is a new trail about 1/4 before the kilns. It takes you up and over the mountain immediately north of the campground for stunning views. It's a more vigorous hike and if you want will take you back down to highway 1 just north of the new rainrocks tunnel.
Beautiful redwoods here and the waterfalls with the sound of running water, its beautiful and so peaceful here. Its just so short though, I wish it was longer to hike because its so beautiful here. Highly recommend it here if coming from San Luis Obispo, its 67 miles from there. Parking is $10.00 or you can park on US 1 for free. Bring your family or friends lots of post card pictures you can take here. Also the camping grounds is in the same area too.
