pretty though a little smelly. the entrance road is very easy to miss.
Beautiful scenery and quiet. the small ponds host some fish and walking under the over pass is breathtaking.
awesome trail. lots going on. trail is a little small though considering the bikers who go down there as well.
Easy trail. I enjoyed it!. Not many spots to go off the trail and relax though.
A few things make this hike special and 5-star.
1) Several briges over water streams in summer
2) Dozens of crawl fish in water under the bridges
3) Memorial eclectic site in grove of trees with gazebo
look for this after going under hwy 15 heading east.
the trail mergers with a road for 100yds. memorial site is on your left and trail picks a up again
4) Trail length goes much farther then 3mi round d trip as it continues east into poway. hiked 5mi.I round trip and had left a few miles un-hiked.
