Not a place to hike but a pretty good paved path to ride. It hooks into the canal trail in Concord. If you combine it with the Canal trail and Crow Canyon and Norris Canyon roads its a very nice ride

Black top walkway called a trail.

This is a paved suburban walkway, even though they call it a trail. I walk it all the time, but it's not a "hiking trail." Bring your stroller.

This trail is a paved trail that runs from Pleasanton, through Dublin, through San Ramon, into Walnut Creek, ending in Concord. It is not used primarily for hiking...you walk, run, skate, or bike this trail. It's a good trail for getting some exercise and walking the dog or stroller. No need for hiking shoes or sticks. It's a city trail. There is not a river that runs through it. San Ramon Creek runs parallel to parts of it. It crosses many busy roads and you'll have to wait for traffic lights to turn green. I live 2 blocks from this trail and I'm very thankful for it, but the AllTrails Overview is very misleading.
