Hidden Valley Road is a 4.2 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Murrieta, CA that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round.

Daily entrance fee required, open sunrise to sunset, no dogs, no smoking, take nothing leave nothing. Friendly trail with benches along the trail, clearly defined.

Hidden Valley Road is just that: a road. It is a large, wide dirt path that many different trails intersect or spawn from, and it pretty much cuts through the center of the plateau. It has no shade and can be baking hot in the summer months so he prepared! But if you are looking for a leisurely walk on the plateau then Hidden Valley Road is a good choice! It has some very beautiful views of the hills and ends by the adobes.
One of the trails at Hidden Valley Trail Head, Only went up to 0.7 miles, will have to return and hike all the way to the Historic Adobes around 3 miles. Nice wide trail and friendly with benches along the way.
