Guy Fleming Trail is a 0.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near La Jolla, CA that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is accessible year-round.
Quick fun loop with several awesome look out points!
Scenic views. Well mantained and family friendly.
To sum this hike in a couple of words I would call it simple and beautiful. The hike is short and in a loop format. All of it is paved so there isn't any room for confusion. But the views, the views are breathtaking. From the North Loop you can see the entire beach and some part of the city. From the South Loop there is another ocean view with a combination of greenery and the cliffs. Short, simple, and sweet describes Guy Fleming. A must do if you are visiting La Jolla! Don't forget your 10$ for parking either if you want to park at the top.
Another inner loop at the upper mesa of TPSR. Beautiful views and an easy short trek. Good for all. A nice add if you park at the lower parking lot and hike up the main hill on the road, through this loop and down to the ocean on razor point trail and head north on the beach back to the parking lot. (about 3.5m total with 350ft elevation gain. (parking is $20 in the lot or free if you get lucky along the beach north of the entrance.) Tons of people do this gorgeous loop regularly; myself being one of them.
Perfectly beautiful short hike. Make it longer and cheaper by arriving early and parking along the beach road..
Nice easy short trail. Ocean views from the lookout. Trails are well maintained
What a beautiful trail! This is a short and easy hike (my 5 year old made it), but if you want to go further, there are many trails to choose from at Torrey Pines State Reserve. This trail has great coastal views from on top of the cliffs and many benches along the way to relax and enjoy the view. Bring water only because no food is allowed. Take the time to walk through the visitor center, there are nice displays and the staff is very friendly.
While it's short, the views are amazing. Combine it with all the other trails at Torrey pines for a full treat.
