We enjoyed it! The trails aren't marked very well, so not sure we did the exact Franklin Canyon trail, but had a nice hike nonetheless. It's not super crowded, and you can meander through the trails without really worrying about getting lost. The ducks and turtles at Heavenly Pond were cool to look at on the bench under the trees. They were very social so clearly they'd been fed before. Overall a great hike! I'd explore there again!
Hike is really easy, love the view of the lake and the animals that surround it such as Ducks, Turtles, and birds. Inside the lake you are also able to see fishes.
Easy, short hike. Most should be able to do this, but there is a section with stairs. The lake is okay to look at, but the turtles and ducks are the stars of this hike (near the end by a park bench). Would do again, especially to revisit turtles or to take friends.
Just did one of trails today. Forgot to get the name. It faces the Beverly Hills side. Great views and it's easy. Interesting views today due to the brush fire. Clouds of smoke.
Nice and easy trail. Beautiful scenery.
Amazing!!! Lovely treasure hidden from the city. There are multiple trails. Be cautious we have seen rattle snakes and coyotes. Lots of picture opportunities. The lake has been used for many television shows over the years. Obey traffic signs - camera enforced stop signs. STOP tickets are $100
Great hike for all ages 3 to 103!
A lovely, uncrowned trail with an abundance of water life.
It was great! We took off trail hiking away from original trail. It was challenging but amazing.
Nice but not perfect - didn't expect to be on the road those few times. Very few people which made it great for me and my pup.
Nice and quiet trail to escape the noise of the city. Great views and good for getting up close with wildlife.
It was nice.
Nice place, could use more trails
Beautiful scenery, abundant wildlife, a quick and quiet getaway.
If you miss nature living in the city- this place is the antidote.
