One of those far trails to get to with incredible panoramic views at the summit. Hidden jewel of the desert midway is a Palm Oasis. At the end of the trail where you'll see an area that only a very few hikers ever get to experience.

Hiked this trail back in Dec 1, 2013, It’s one of the trails inside the Indian Canyons. You’ll have to Hike through Alexander East Trail to find the trailhead to Fern Canyon. If you hike this trail all the way towards East, it ends at Vandeventer Trail. Anybody planning to hike this trail, best to start early in the morning and hike a loop going ahead to Vandeventer, then Victor and finally Palm Canyon Trail which takes you back to the Trading Post and Parking. Have plenty of water and sun protection, it’s a sunny trail.
