This loop gives you a tour of the El Moro Canyon, then climbs over 800' in elevation to the ridge line, where you'll enjoy some of the best coastline views in the park.
Great views of the ocean
A great workout! I did about 5 miles, got some great inclines! You can see the ocean going up. My new favorite! Now that I am more familiar with it as well as the maps (The maps tend to be slightly different on the poles at times, maybe they arent all updated) next time I will make it to the ocean. Thank you OCParks for this beauty in Laguna Beach.
Beautiful views, great beach weather. Lots of options for trails. Some steep and others not so hard. Can't wait to try the full loop!
Great views, moderate inclined very dusty. Kids enjoyed didn't see much wildlife except for several large hawks flying overhead.
Good view, but not elevated enough for me
Hike for almost 5 miles.
Had a great workout with my friends.
Nice cool ocean breeze.
Beautiful views of the ocean while you're hiking! I would definitely say it is moderate, not easy. My friend and I were breathing a little heavy while talking to each other, but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle, and we aren't even in very good shape haha. Pretty flowers along the way (:
It was a great hike.
It was terrific! Very scenic and cool temperatures! Have hiked the entire park, but mostly stick to El Moro loop for time constraints! Clean air and a great workout
Nice trail with cool ocean breeze. Nice views at the end. Stopped in second parking lot at tables for lunch.
Super fun, well marked pathways are always appreciated. You can make it easy or hard, depending on which path you choose which is very nice!
Very nice hike, great views!
it really worth $15 i loved the place
A nice ocean view from the top but overall a very boring, dusty trail devoid of any wildlife (unless you count spiders). $15 to park your car, but at least you can head to the beach afterwards to rinse the dust off your legs. Better yet...skip this hike and walk the beach instead!
Great for running - lots of rolling hills. I love being able to run from ridge to ridge like this hard trail allows. Did about ~14 miles of trails this day that connected. Running the single track paths were pretty fun too, not many bikers on those paths when I was there. Great views
