Easy Street Trail is a 0.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Yorba Linda, CA that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible from March until November.
Grassy Hills, Tree-lined Creek, Wildlife Corridor, Hikers Only A hike along the Easy Street Trail offers some of the best trailside shade to be found within all of Chino Hills State Park. The trail, unlike nearly all others within the park, is open to hikers only, and provides not only refuge from occasional hair-raising encounters involving speeding bicyclists, but also relief from some of the smog and heat that are pervasive in this area of the park . The flora along this trail is lush and green nearly all year long, as the trail parallels a small creek that continues past its junction with the Telegraph Canyon Trail (which transverses the park from west to east). Easy Street Trail is well-signed-look for the trailhead just beyond the park entrance sign/bulletin board at the Rim Crest Drive entrance, and continue north. For a longer hike, continue either west or east along the Telegraph Canyon Trail at the trail junction, or turn and retrace your steps to the Rim Crest Drive park entrance.
Many trail options from this residential trail head spot. TAKE WATER and watch for snakes, didn't see one , but saw their belly paths across trail several times. It was warm ,but there was a breeze that was awesome and shade trees to take a breather under. Mountain bikers a plenty so keep you ears open. My Boyfriend and I enjoyed it and will go back to zig where we zagged to see what else is out there.
To call this a trail is disingenuous. It is a cross connector between two longer/larger trails. Akin to calling an interchange a freeway. Or even an on/off-ramp.
Awesome little trail. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Connects to a much larger trail if you're feeling adventurous. Great for families!
