This is a real fun but strenous hike. Start real early in the morning to be back before dark because it will take you all day. You will start at Jerkey Mdw TH and come out at Forks of the Kern TH. Carry a good topo map and know how to read it and have good sence of directions. Trail is in good shape but there may be a few fallen snags across the trail.
