Crumbaugh Lake Trail is a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Old Station, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from July until September.
This is a nice hike to bring the little ones on. It's fairly easy & short, passes Cold Boiling Lake (look for bubbles) before reaching Crumbaugh Lake, which is surrounded by meadows. If you have time & energy, you can take the cut-off at Cold Boiling Lake & take the back-way in to Bumpass Hell.
