Hiked her last year around April. We thought it was kids friendly, but it wasn't. It was pretty steep in some areas and there were switch backs on others. We took my 6-year-old niece with us and had to stop several times. It took us 4-5 hours to get to the lake with our niece. I wouldn't recommend kids under 10. The lake is crystal clear and beautiful. We caught a few small fishes but let them go. I would go again, just not with kids.

Walked up to Cliff lake from Courtright Reservoir. It is a good full day round trip hike. The ending into Cliff Lake is a bit steep for small kids. We took some fishing gear but were not able to catch anything.
