Borrego Mountain Wash to West Butte is a 6.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Borrego Springs, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
This is a fun Scenic drive with lots of wonderful steal sculptures. Great for kids!!
The rangers are super helpful if you need help finding a trail to hike. The metal sculptures were interesting.
The scenic drive is nice but if you wanna see more try he ding to Galleta Medows in Anza Borrego, to see the Metal Sculptures
Magnificent, unearthly scenic wonder - great trails - best camping, hiking,
during fall and spring ( wondrous desert flowers bloom rapidly, active critter population, few if any crowds, 99% silence. very helpful rangers -- one of the greats!!
