A short loop trail, that giver stunning 360 degree views of San Francisco. A hidden gem that offers views worth the slight climb.
Great views of the city and rarely gets crowded. It can be windy but is a great place to watch the fog roll in over Sutro
Gets super windy and lots of dogs but a nice spot to get up high for views of the city
Popular neighbourhood hill near the Mission in SF. Great for a quick nice view of the City. Plenty of off-leash dogs if that's your thing. But there usually is at least some spot to hunker down and ponder away from dog walkers and people and the views are very nice albeit it does get windy. Early morning/evening especially nice.
Very popular for special astronomical events (eg super moons) and Fourth of July!
Great short hike for the dogs. Great views for their people.
Very easy hike with some opportunity to "get off the beaten path" by hiking up the hill. Dogs are everywhere, with plenty of opportunities for off leash running.
Amazing view, very easy hike up.
A good 360 view of SF. Great place for a hangout after work
Breathtaking views of SFO. Just too many dogs with no leashes.
My "home break". Love running up and around Bernal Heights Park. Lovely views.
One of the best urban hikes in SF. You get an amazing 360 degrees view of the city as a reward when you atop that hill. Not too strenuous. Dog friendly. Has a water fountain at the start and easily accessible by Bart! What more could you ask.
Outstanding views. A little bit of a climb but still kid-friendly. If you're a long time San Franciscan, this is a must.
