Beaudry Loop is a 5.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Glendale, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking and is best used from October until June. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
This trail is a solid workout and offers impressive views of downtown LA, the San Gabriel Mountains, and the San Fernando Valley. I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't a fire road.
Nice hike, but BEWARE OF MOUNTAIN LION!
This is a fire road, so good for groups. It's a nice workout coming up the hills and has nice views of DTLA and the San Gabriel Mountains. There is hardly any shade, so come prepared for sun and bring extra water.
Nice hike on a cool winter morning. Great views of the snow on the mountains to the north. A little hazy to the south, but could still see all the Santa Monica Mountains, Palos Verdes Peninsula, and even a shadow of Catalina. Wide road makes this a great hike for groups, dogs, etc.
Basically a dirt road for motor vehicle access to the top. Took the north loop up and down the south loop. The south loop seems much steeper though. Mostly in the shade by the afternoon. Great view to the ocean once you get to the top.
