Bear Valley Road is a 12.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Truckee, California that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, nature trips, and off road driving and is accessible year-round.

Directions from Sierraville: Travel east on County Route #650 for approximately 7 miles. The trail begins off of Bear Valley Campground.
Fun trail with just enough scare in certain spots. I went after heavy rain though which could account for the tougher conditions.

What trail are you guys talking about cuz it sure CAN"T be this one in Sierraville!!! It is nearly 200 miles away from any ocean!
