Great workout hike, contours lagoon, golf course, and nature trail This is a great workout hike during the week. This trail is one the entire family can enjoy since there is something for everyone. Lots of herons, mud hens, lizards, rabbits, lagoon, and flora views. It's not not too crowded, depending on time of day and weather. One drawback is bikes, and people stoping on the trail to enjoy the area, so pay attention.
Great trail for a first time hiker/runner, or someone who's trying to get back into shape.
Easy to walk, flat ground... PLENTY of benches to sit down at and enjoy the view, eat a snack, or catch your breath. Can get windy past 3pm. Busy trail on the weekends, and in the mornings. Hardly anyone there on weekdays around noon. Haven't had any issues with bugs or wildlife. My husband and I frequent this trail!
Also, a lot of POKESTOPS! :)
Baby runner friendly!
This is a really pretty little walk. I like that there are a couple of trash and recycling cans along the way.
Flat trail, very beautiful.
Easy trail. Very peaceful and beautiful views.
Nice flat trial and beautiful views.
Very clean, flat and beautiful. Extremely dog friendly - your challenge comes in the pace you want to run. Wonderful!
Great for families and dogs.
Pro: Very nice wide flat trail and excellent for families.....even young families with strollers. If you are a birder, this is also a great trail.
Con: You can hear the freeway for most of the trail.
Easy trail - wish it was longer. Many people and even more benches. Plenty of shade.
Parking may be a challenge but the trail is wide and easy to do. Good for families with small kids and those with dogs.
Came here multiple time whenever I am in a mood to just take a short walk!!!!
It was a pretty fair length. Smelled pretty intense but have to expect that I guess. It was okay.
Nice easy trail about 2.5 miles round trip. Great for bird watching. If you are fortunate you might see an Osprey.
Wonderful scenery and plant life. The trail was wide enough to accommodate everyone. All people and dogs were nice. :-). There were many park benches for resting and taking in the view!
I tried to have my dogs off of the leash and an older woman tried to kick my dog and told me that there are laws to have dogs on leashes. Everyone was very rude. Pretty to hike and a good, flat distance to spend an afternoon. Will not be going back.
