Ascot Hills Park Trail is a 2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Los Angeles, California that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is accessible year-round.
Before it became a Park, our Biology teacher took us up here to study wild plants. Is just sad and disappointing to see all that tagging. It gives the place a feel of unsafe.
I like this location, it has a nice area at the bottom with plenty of trees and it's great to practice uphills. Once you get to the top, there are plenty of good views of the city, best views are at sundown.
easy trail for walking with 3yr kids and up.
good for a small walk in the afternoon.
did the 2 mile loop, was cool cause it was close to the house with a nice view of downtown, for a quick workout sure, so many much better place just outside the city though
Nice hike saw lots of bunnies beautiful flowers
It's really nice at night. You can see a great view of downtown LA and the city night lights. You'll even spot an owl or a bat if you're lucky and you'll always see rabbits running around. Right now is probably the best time to go it's really green because of the rain and its full of sun flowers everywhere!
I had a hard time not knowing which way to go. I think next time will be easier. Trail was a little ripped up in some places so watch your step. Good view and quite a few trail options.
