Rode with my husband today, and really enjoyed the ride. Didn't get to complete the entire ride, due to flat tire before ride this morning. Flowers were in bloom & views around lake were so beautiful. Got a little warm, don't think it would be a ride I'd want to do in summer.

This was a great trail to go mountain biking on. Actually got a little lost at first but figured it out when I found a fence line to follow. If you haven't checked it out I would recommend you do so.

Also Known as Coyote and Hogans Trail. Intermediate and advanced trails. Trailhead begins at North East most camp ground. Follows along lake for about 5 miles. Out and back not a loop trail. Rocky terrain very little cover so can be very hot trail. Watch for snakes along trail. Fun rolling single track.

More of a mountain biking trail. You'll see a walker/hiker now and then but trail is mostly used for biking. Great spot to camp and bike around lake. All, if not, most of the trail is exposed so it is really dry & hot in summer. Used to come for walks during dusk.

This trail has many options for all skill levels. The trail length depends on the route you choose and how well you know the area. Most trails will lead back to the same starting point with the exception of a few near the east side. This trail is mostly sharp granite and drains well. It can be ridden almost anytime of the year. The summer can be rough due to extreme heat, no shade, and rattle snakes. Long sleeve is recommended because parts of the trail can be a little overgrown near chest height.
