Once you reach Aliso Peak you will have amazing views of ocean, Aliso & Woods Canyon and Laguna Beach. Lots of picnic tables along Niguel Hill Trail. Trail is detached but apart of the Aliso & Woods Canyon Trail system.
This trail is a very short trail, but one may extend this trail by walking into Laguna Beach. The nice thing about this trail is that it's kind of a shortcut to get to Laguna Beach, in a sense. There are two paths: Aliso Peak Trail, a path that leads to the peak and Toovet Trail, a path that leads down a maintenance road going into Laguna Beach. It is not a very good trail, necessarily, but it is good just to go on a short walk and see something different. It is kind of hard to find this trail because it is all the way back on Saint Tropez Street which is in West Laguna Niguel.
