Wishing Springs Trail is a 3.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Bentonville, Arkansas that features a river. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for walking, trail running, birding, and road biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Part of the Bentonville Shared Use trails system, this cement paved .67 mile trail interconnects the Lake Bella Vista Trail and North Bentonville Trail. Amazing trail system travels under Business 71 and Interstate 49 (71) freeway interchange by way of two lighted tunnels and then also under the Benton County 40 bridge.
This is a very unique trail that I enjoy by both bicycle and walking. The Lake Bella Vista Trail began to expand outward by way of this trail. A large portion of this trail features streams and creeks. There is alot of interesting slate rock in the creek bed in one area. This trail actually travels underneath where Interstate 49 and North Walton Blvd. converge and does this utilizing two lighted tunnels (kind of like a mini-Bobby Hopper Tunnel)! The trail also takes you underneath Benton County 40 bridge too. Portions of this trail run adjacent to North Walton Blvd. and Interstate 49 so it kind of makes you feel like you are on your own little paved highway complete with center line and road signs along the way. You can park at the trail-head, just off of North Walton Blvd., and travel out to Lake Bella Vista Trail and loop back again. This makes for an amazing cycling or walking adventure.
