Beautiful variety of falls and scenery!
My family and I love this trail in the summer months because of the water features. We have even used the short loop for family pictures a few times. The loop features natural rock shelters that frame a small creek. The waterfall trail passes a pond full of beautiful Lilly pads. Once to the water you have the option to follow the stream and rock climb to the waterfall, or follow the well paved trail. We usually swim in the shallow water and then climb up the creek to the waterfall. The kids enjoy swimming in the crisp water and standing behind the falls.
Nice hike. Also found 7 "Bella vista rocks". See pics
Great Trail. Nicely Marked. Pet Friendly. Very scenic spots to take photographs. Has a paved looped area for people with strollers. Have to get off the paved trail to see waterfall. Love that you can enjoy getting in the water, sit on the rocks and chill, and even get in and walk behind the waterfall.
It's more like 3 miles if you go off the black top trail. Which is what you have to do to see any of the sites on the trail.
Lovely trail with a nice variety of plants and things to see. Very easy access to trailhead and trails were very well maintained. I had read about the waterfall and was not disappointed! Great place to hike if you have a couple of hours to spare.
Very beautiful place, it's a must visit.
Great trail! I took my 9 month old lab, and she was able to do it without any trouble. The waterfalls were gorgeous and the trails was decently marked.
very scenic and easy hike to the waterfall
I was totally spoiled with my first experience here because it was raining so my friend and I were the only ones on it! The rain stopped minutes into our hike and we got to enjoy the whole loop without seeing another soul. The waterfall was raging, the lake at the top was serene and beautiful, the creek was warm enough to swim. All around perfect day.
*Great place to have pictures taken as well!
A very easy trail to walk.
