BEAUTIFUL WALK ALONG THE BLUFFS OF THE WHITE RIVER A BEAUTIFUL WALK ALONG THE BLUFFS OF THE WHITE RIVER. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL AND NEAT AREAS OF THE OZARKS. NESTLED IN THE MADISON WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA THE GAME AND AREA IS STILL IN A PRISTINE STATE. I WOULD RECOMEND THIS WALK TO EVERONE IF ONLY TO GET AWAY TO A PEACEFUL BEAUTIFUL AREA ABUNDUNT WITH WILD LIFE.

Short. Well marked. Views are amazing. Apple maps didn't work for this one.

This was the perfect hike for the family. Short and sweet, amazing views. My kiddos couldn't have been happier. Wish we would have looked in to how to get to the falls from there. A dip in the river would have been a nice way to wrap up the hike

Very pretty overlook in the Spring. Great bluff views and river scenery. Short and easy hike. Follow driving directions from Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to find trailhead. Apple maps sent us on a wild ride.

Nice day to hike this easy, beautiful trail. It was cloudy and sprinkling the day we hiked it. Trail is flat and wide. There is a very nice waterfall along the trail and was not difficult to bushwhack down to it. There was a nice high rock ledge at the end of the trail overlooking a big bend in the King River. I would recommend this trail.

Easy hike with multiple beautiful views of the Kings River. There is also another trail on the backside of the parking area that leads down to a waterfall.

Great, easy hike.. The view was spectacular. Went in early January. Make sure to bring binoculars and you should be able to see Bald Eagles fishing/soaring.

Beautiful at any time of the year..... easy for any hiking level. BUT keep kiddos with you on the trail because the bluffs to the right side are very high. The road is getting pretty rutted out.

Stumbled on this trail by accident because we were having a very hard time finding Tea Kettle Falls. With that being said, it was a nice little journey. The overlook of the river was breathtaking. Not a lot of obstacles and cool little brooks running on the way out. A great rock formation about halfway through the trail as well. VERY steep drop off over the ridge so be careful.

Was pretty difficult to find the trailhead since they are missing one of the directional signs they had before, but luckily I had enough service to look up the directions again. Easy trail-- amazing views! Although it's easy, the drop offs are deadly, but if your wanting to take the kids the main trail at least has some good distance between it and the bluffs on the side so if you keep them close and watch carefully, this could be ok for kids.

This is an easy and pleasant walk, about .5 miles to the overlook on a well-marked and maintained trail. It is out and back for a total of one mile. Some of the previous information shows a loop however it does not appear to be part of the newly "designed" trail. The trail head is in a different location than what was originally shown and you can no longer get to that access (private property). Also I believe horses were allowed in the past but it is clear they are not anymore.

Once you enter WMA property you can easily follow the signs to the new parking lot (very nice gravel lot) and trailhead. Since the trail is short I suggest this as second one for the day or as a warm up for another.

The overlook is very beautiful and so serene you can stand there for quite some time just taking it in, defiantly a must do trail. Bring your camera!
