King's River: AR 74 to MO 86 is a 82.5 mile trail located near Kingston, Arkansas. The trail is primarily used for canoeing.
I've floated this river many times over the years. In all kinds of weather. The lower sections can be floated year round.
This is not a trail, it's a river! Most of the upper section is not accessible, or runnable most of the time. but the lower section is a great canoeing river. Good scenery, Wildlife, & fishing. and by the way in the overview it says 82 miles and 4hours time? Does anyone check these before they post them?
But if you're in the area, go hike the trail down to Kings River Falls ( especially after rain... a bunch of rain) good swimming hole below falls in the summer. the trailhead has been moved and it's a slightly longer trail than what the Arkansas Waterfalls book say's (published before they moved trailhead). Just under a mile, one way, but an easy mostly level trail, which is along side the Kings River for all but the very beginning part.
